Heart for Housing: A Mission to Provide Safe Haven for All
Housing is a basic need for everyone

Housing is a basic need for every individual and yet many people struggle to find a safe place to sleep when trouble comes. The Center of Hope is on a mission to change that. The "Heart for Housing" program was established with a goal to provide funding for safe and affordable housing that will serve families and individuals in our area.
The Center of Hope offers a range of services to help our at risk neighbors find stability in their lives. These services include a free-choice food pantry, programs and services for mothers, training and classes covering a wide range of subjects, and one-on-one mentoring. Now, through the "Heart for Housing" program we've set our sights on providing the area's only emergency housing center.
One of the primary goals the Center of Hope has in providing emergency shelter is that of giving refuge to women and children in critical situations. Abuse, human trafficking, neglect, drugs and related crimes are perhaps surprising to some, but unfortunately they are all too common. These circumstances can seem nearly impossible to leave for victims, but the Center of Hope intends to remove the biggest obstacle by providing free emergency shelter to those who need it. This is often the first step to freedom.
The Center of Hope has also helped many families and individuals overcome the difficulties that prevent them from keeping or securing stable housing. For people struggle to afford the cost of rent, utilities, and other household expenses, we've worked to develop a customized plan to help them overcome these challenges and achieve financial stability; for those who need it, we hope to soon provide warm and safe temporary housing as well.
The Center of Hope is supported by individuals, churches, civic organizations and businesses who want to make a positive impact on people's lives. By providing access to safe emergency housing, we intend to help those in need overcome their challenges and achieve financial stability. It's a mission that is close to the heart of the Center of Hope, and we are working tirelessly to make a difference by bringing these resources to the community.
