Free Choice Market

The Free Choice Market, a food pantry where guests can shop and choose the items they want!

Between November of 2023 and October of 2024 we had over 4000 individual shopping trips through the Free Choice Market!

Shopping with dignity and Choice

We know that asking for food assistance is a humbling and difficult decision so we strive to make each of our guests feel welcomed. Since our inception our goal has been to ensure that the services we provide are tailored to meet the specific needs of our families in need. The Free Choice Market is set up as a mini grocery store so that people can choose the food they need and prefer rather than simply getting a one size fits all box of food. We also strive to address the underlying source of the crisis and look to provide life skills classes to assist helping individuals succeed in areas they currently struggle with.

At the Center of Hope Free Choice Market we are never looking to judge someone that is in need. We treat each of our guests with respect and confidentiality. Our greatest satisfaction comes when we receive word that prayers were answered for employment, healing, or restored relationships. Please call our office at 810-620-8167 to fill out an application and schedule an appointment. Once your application has been approved you will be placed on our market schedule and then given a tour. We look forward to working with you and your family!
